We can all agree that remote working has its ups and downs, pros and cons. And it is purely individual whether you like it or hate it. Or have bitter-sweet feelings. ????
I’ve been working remotely for more than four years now and there are some challenges but it is very satisfying if you organise time and don’t neglect your personal life.
“Remote work isn’t about being busy;
it’s about being productive.
The best workers are those who achieve more in fewer hours.”

Digital Marketing is ideal for those who want to work from home. Working online, with your computer, relaxed for ideas to float in.
Here are a few things you should remember if you are considering working remotely:
Pros:
- Working from the most comfortable place – home
- A chance to have that extra 5 mins break
- 3 hours round commute is a thing of past
- No need for a dress code and make-up
- Eating cooked food
Cons:
- No face-to-face communication
- Working longer/more at the end
- Work-life balance can be difficult to accomplish
Big yes to the remote work, but you need to make sure you are doing it right. Organisation is the key. And don’t detach yourself from people and make sure to leave time for the things that make you happy.
Also, it would be great to have separate workspace in your home. It doesn’t need to be separate room, but a little working corner is a must.
P.s. Maybe obvious, but the internet service needs to meet your needs and be reliable.
